Arizona Senator Jeff Flake has thoroughly rejected the America-first populism that propelled Donald Trump into office, preferring instead to curry favor with and virtue-signal to Democrats and liberal Establishment Republicans like himself.

According to a story in bizpacreview.com:
To Flake, the interests of the ‘huddled masses’ who pour across Arizona’s border at will are far more important than the Arizonans who elected him.
He’s even written a new book about it, and other things presumably, ironically titled ‘Conscience of a Conservative.’ If the title sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because “Mr. Conservative” himself, Barry Goldwater, once ‘penned’ a book by the same name using a ghost writer named L. Brent Bozell, Jr.
And as if the irony couldn’t get any more rich, Bozell’s son happens to be conservative activist, author, and Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell III – who isn’t liking Flake’s book or his current anti-Trump politics one bit.
“Jeff Flake is not a conservative, nor does he have a conscience,” Bozell said in a statement posted on his Twitter account. “On behalf of my late father and my family, I am denouncing Senator Jeff Flake and his new book, dishonestly titled, ‘Conscience of a Conservative.’”
“As every conservative leader knows, my father, L. Brent Bozell, Jr., ghost-wrote ‘Conscience of a Conservative’ for Barry Goldwater. While the Goldwater Institute may own the rights to the book’s title, neither the organization nor Senator Flake have the right to unjustifiably trade on my father’s work,” writes Bozell.
Calling Flake a “fraud” and a “deceiver out for personal and financial gain,” Bozell sharply questioned the Senator’s motives for penning the book and called on real conservatives to denounce Flake.
“The media need to know, when reporting on Senator Flake and his ‘book,’ that the author is a deceiver out for personal and financial gain. I also call on my conservative brethren to denounce this imposter, who dishonorably claims to speak for conservatism, in the strongest possible terms.”
Fortunately, the ‘flaky’ Arizona Senator is up for re-election in 2018. One can only hope Arizona voters punish him at the ballot box for sacrificing their interests on the alter of globalism.
