Kellyanne Conway lambasted actress Meryl Streep on Monday for ignoring the most recent high-profile abuse of a disabled individual in favor of repeating a “debunked” claim against President-elect Donald Trump in Streep’s Golden Globes rant Sunday night.

On Sunday, Streep revived allegations that during a 2015 rally, Trump mocked disabled New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who was involved in a dispute with Trump over allegations that Muslims in New Jersey celebrated the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.
Conway, who managed the Trump campaign and will serve as counselor to the president in the Trump White House, said that if Streep wanted to be relevant instead of political, all she had to do was cite the horrific case of a special-needs man who was tortured for hours by four tormentors who posted part of their abuse on Facebook Live.
