According To NY Daily News:
Molly Peters, a former Bond girl who appeared opposite Sean Connery in “Thunderball,” has died.
She was 75.
A cause was not immediately available, but her death was announced on the official James Bond franchise Twitter account.
“We are sad to hear that Molly Peters has passed away at the age of 75,” the account tweeted Tuesday. “Our thoughts are with her family.”
Roger Moore, James Bond actor, dead at 89 after cancer battle
Peters — who played a nurse named Patricia Fearing who cared for 007 in 1965 spy flick — became the first Bond girl to take off her clothing during a 007 movie.
Censors warned producers that “Thunderball” could receive an “X” rating, and a scene featuring Peters was ultimately cut, according to The Telegraph.
The movie, which was the fourth in the James Bond franchise, grossed over $141 million at the box office.
Peters was the first Bond girl to take off her clothes in a 007 movie.
Peters didn’t appear in many other movies during her short acting career, which began with a role in the 1964 short film “Peter Studies Form.” Her final film credit came in the 1968 comedy “Don’t Raise the Bridge, Lower the River,” in which she played a secretary.
Roger Moore’s fellow James Bond actors pen heartfelt tributes
Her death comes a week after Roger Moore, who stepped into the 007 role after Connery, died at 89 following a short battle with cancer.
