President Obama’s not so silver-tongued after all.
Reported by Western Journalism:
The man who’s spent eight years pontificating endlessly on everything from American police acting “stupidly” to whether British voters should elect to stay in the European Union, found himself on the receiving end of some tough questions about the astonishing number of murders in his adopted hometown of Chicago last year.
And the president lauded by the left for his eloquent command of the language dropped in about the worst phrase he could have used regarding a possible solution for the deadly violence.
“I don’t think there’s one reason and I don’t think there’s a silver bullet answer for it,” Obama told NBC-Chicago interviewer Carol Marin during an interview Thursday.
“It appears it be a combination of factors: the nature of gang structures or lack of structure in Chicago, the way that police are allocated in some cases, the need for more police, the easy accessibility of guns, pockets of poverty that are highly segregated,” Obama said of the city where he will soon deliver his farewell speech.
Then…No silver bullet answer for it?
