Obama also said during a podcast, produced by the University of Chicago Institute of Politics and CNN, that he will not keep quiet when he disagrees with his successor.
After noting that his first priority after leaving office Jan. 20 will be to write a book, Obama praised the wisdom of George Washington in staying out of future political battles.

Obama has said in the past that he will speak out against Donald Trump.
