Research shows that the newest generation of American do not visit news sites, read newspapers or watch television news. Instead, Millennials, spend more time on social networks. The worry is that Millennials’ awareness of the world, as a result, is narrow, their discovery of events is incidental and passive, and that news is just one of many random elements in a social feed.
The rhetoric is that Millennials are lazy, have no work ethic and would rather play virtual reality games then live in reality and care even less about what is going on in the Country. Many Millenials believe that America is not their Country, so why should they care about it?
