Poll Context: In an interview between Megyn Kelly and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Wasserman Schultz dismissed the idea that Hillary Clinton faces a possible indictment over her emails.
Kelly stated, “You know what the response to that on the other side is which is things have gotten a little vulgar on the GOP side, but no one is facing the threat of indictment,” to which Wasserman Schultz responded,
“There’s no one facing the threat of indictment on our side, either, Megyn,” Wasserman Schultz shot back.
“There’s an open DOJ and FBI investigation into Clinton right now,” Kelly rebutted.
“Let’s not be melodramatic,” Wasserman Schultz said.
“How is that melodramatic? Those are the facts,” Kelly pressed.
“Well, predicting that there is someone facing indictment is definitely melodramatic,” Wasserman Schultz said.
“There was no prediction,” Kelly argued. “There was a statement that there is no one on the GOP side under the threat of indictment.”
So if there is no-one facing the possibility of an indictment, does that mean regardless of the FBI findings, Clinton will be protected from any type of prosecution?
