Several refugees in Düsseldorf’s set fire because they were not given a wake-up call to celebrate Ramadan. There has been reported violence in various refugee camps around the world. In Denmark they attacked police for trying to remove a young girl to prevent her for being continually raped. They have set fires and began riots for not being happy with their accommodations. Most recently they set fire to the facility where they were being housed because they were not given a wake up call. The refugees who witnessed the fire proudly recorded it on their phones.
There were initially two arrests of migrants that were found at the scene boasting about setting the fire, but this number later rose to six. The men arrested are reported to have been citizens of Morocco, Algeria, Syria and Iraq.
Refugees are commonly given jobs and some are employed as security. This has caused conflict and has led to widespread abuse and violence.
